Pte Ltd. was
founded in 2006 by Peter Gilliland.
Peter has extensive experience in a
range of Project Management responsibilities from initial project identification
to installation, commissioning, customer handover and closeout, together with a
thorough understanding of project implementation for the emergency services,
petrochemical, process control, mining, local government, utilities, rail
and road transportation and many other private companies.
Prior to the creation of PJG Consulting, Peter
was Regional Engineering Project Manager with Tait Electronics (Far East) Pte
Ltd. (a supplier of professional mobile radio products and services to customers
across Asia) with responsibility for the successful management of all major
projects undertaken by the company in Asia region.
Prior to Tait Electronics,
Peter was a Senior Project Manager with Motorola Inc., based in Jakarta
Indonesia, where he was responsible for the delivery of various high-profile
projects. This included Project Management of all engineering works during the
implementation of the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry Integrated Radio
Communications project (a US$90m project to install 850 radio sites in Eastern
Indonesia), followed by management of the design, engineering, procurement, and
installation and commissioning of a US$30m network expansion.
Other positions include
working in the UK with Philips Electronics and BAe Systems, and various
System Integrators in Singapore and Indonesia.
Peter has achieved
certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project
Management Institute (PMI). He also has a Masters Certificate in Project
Management awarded by George Washington University, a Diploma in Action-Based
Training from Atlantic International University, and was awarded a Higher
National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering during his education
in England.
